We partner with the USS Midway to deliver unforgettable experiences rooted in sharing great food.  Along with the Midway Special Events   Department, we are here to guide you through the entire process, which allows you to breathe easy knowing our creativity and experience will elevate your most important moments.

Hold your next event aboard the immensely popular, USS Midway Museum. The Midway’s unique downtown San Diego location, convention center proximity, and 360-degree panoramic views make it an unparalleled venue for every occasion! Climb aboard cockpits, stunning aircraft, and dramatic spaces create fun photo opportunities for your guests. The Midway also offers space for military events including retirements, re-enlistments, and more!

FLIGHT DECK: Big or small, the flight deck’s flexible vast space is the hallmark of any event, where 50,000 square feet of usable space is available to be transformed for a custom experience for your guests. The flight deck features unparalleled 360-degree views of San Diego, spanning the downtown skyline, San Diego-Coronado Bridge, and Point Loma. Just as inspiring are the more than 30 remarkably restored naval aircraft on the flight deck, spanning nearly 50 years of naval aviation.

• Guest capacity from 150 to 4000 guests for reception-style events.
• Seated events from 800 to 1200 based on event requirements and event format.

HANGAR DECK:  Midway’s hangar deck is our largest indoor space, comprised of Hangar Bays 1 and 2. Totaling approximately 17,000 usable square feet, the hangar deck features meticulously restored World War II Aircraft. They create a dramatic and unique backdrop to every event and lend themselves to a variety of unique themed events.  Immediately adjacent in Hangar 2, guests can climb into a variety of cockpit exhibits, experience a flight simulator, or visit the gift shop. Flight elevator 3, located on the port side also provides and inspiring view of San Diego.

• 1500 for a reception-style event.

AIMD MEETING CENTER: Available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

USS Langley Conference Room

• Occupancy:Fixed conference table for 30 people
• Features:A/V, Internet, six (6) wall-mounted monitors, telephone conferencing, notepads/pens, water service

 USS Ranger Conference Room

• Occupancy:Theater or classroom style for 30 people
• Features:A/V, Internet, two (2) large mobile monitors, notepads/pens, water service

 Three Breakout Rooms

• Occupancy:8 people
• Features:A/V, Internet, whiteboard, notepads/pens, water service

DOCENT TOURS

• These popular storytelling docents, Midway’s tour guides in iconic yellow hats, can provide a unique dimension of Midway history.
• Eight specific sites are available for behind-the-scenes touring. 

 FLIGHT SIMULATOR

• Air Combat 360 ~ Full Motion Simulators!
• NEW!  Virtual Reality Flight Experience: Screaming Eagles! Do you have what it takes to be a F/18 pilot?  If you have nerves of steel, join the men and women in the Training Exercise “Screaming Eagles” and hope that it is just the eagle that screams!  Be prepared to launch your F/18 off the aircraft carrier, hit every target, complete your air to air mission and land safely.  You never know when the circumstances change!  So hold on and stay calm as you try to become the next great F/18 pilot! Restrictions:  Must be at least 38” tall to ride.

 BATTLE OF MIDWAY THEATER

• Features “Six Minutes That Changed the World”, a 15-minutes, high-definition multimedia film that stars the American heroes who turned the tide of World War II in the Pacific with their courage, commitment, and devotion to duty.
• The Theater and exhibit features meticulously restored aircraft, a SBD Dauntless and Wildcat, that won the Battle of Midway, informative displays, and interactive videos that carry visitors to a time in 1942 when the outcome of the war was far from certain.
• Capacity of 90 guests. Available for an additional fee for a two-hour minimum.
