Inspiration
In getting to know Christina, you quickly understand that planning events has always been her passionate calling. She fondly remembers being in awe of her Mother’s poise directing and producing nonprofit events. Christina will never forget their first time working together on Washington Humane Society’s Faux Fur Fashion Show, hosted by legendary designer Oleg Cassini, thus sparking a lifelong passion assisting animals in need.
Industry Leader
In her short time here at Culinary Concepts, Christina has quickly become recognized as both a team leader and collaborative partner with an unwavering dedication to delivering exceptional customer service. Christina uses creative approaches to problem solving and a sound process of informed decision-making to maintain grace under pressure.
Zero Waste Catering
Christina’s passion project is food sustainability. She is dedicated to reducing food waste and the overall impact of events on the environment. Christina champions our efforts of sustainable or zero waste catering as well as honoring Chef Donald Coffman’s slow food mission. In collaboration with Chef Coffman, Christina designs custom menus and recipes incorporating local and seasonal ingredients that can be repurposed as well as support our local purveyors. Keep an eye out for her latest efforts, companywide composting and our very own herb garden.
Adventure
When Christina isn’t planning events she’s hitting the road and getting to know her new home on the West Coast. Always up for adventure, she enjoys horseback riding, yoga, soccer, and attending music festival and concerts. When asked about her favorite food Christina chanted, “I love, love, love trying new foods – the spicier, the better!”
