Join us for the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Gala, to benefit the March of Dimes mission fight to support the health of all moms and babies. The evening begins with a tasting ensemble of the San Diego’s most desirable cuisine, prepared and served by culinary masters from top local restaurants. This extraordinary tasting ensemble gives way to a seated program and live auction, offering an opportunity to bid on unique experience packages.

Crystal Sargent is a high performing executive with global expertise building brands and businesses and leading corporate marketing and sales teams that enhance shareholder value through the intersection of brand, culture, strategy, MarComm + MarTech.Crystal is a sought-after speaker on business, entrepreneurship and strategic marketing, including the U.S. Department of Transportation, Roskilde University outside of Copenhagen, Denmark, and the San Diego Police Department. She has been recognized for her contributions to the business and civic life of San Diego with Women Who Mean Business, Tribute to Women in Business and Women Who Impact San Diego honoree. Sargent holds a Master of Science degree in Marketing Communications from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Prior to founding Invested Advisors in 2016, Sargent spent a 23 year career in leadership positions for commercial and private banks, advancing the goals of wealthy families, business owners, corporate executives, underserved communities and non-profit organizations.

March of Dimes believes that every baby deserves the best possible start. Unfortunately, not all babies get one. We are changing that. From advocacy to education to research to direct support in the community, we’re working to level the playing field so all moms and babies are healthy. We believe that when a society supports every family, the future is brighter for us all– and when communities come together, even the toughest problems can be solved.
Premature birth is one of the most significant health threats to moms and babies today— the leading cause of death amongst newborns, and the leading cause of lasting childhood disabilities. In California, March of Dimes is currently funding 26 research grants totaling more than $6 million, and is committed to finding the cause and prevention of preterm birth.
March of Dimes is also fighting for initiatives to increase access to care for all, and to address the devastating disparities in health outcomes for women and children of color.
