The Robert Paine Scripps Seaside Forum, is an extraordinary, ocean-front conference center facility located in the heart of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.  It appeals to a broad base of clients that desire a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, yet provides support  through powerful state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment ranging from 3D projection systems,  multiple computer connections, Surround-Sound, and full teleconferencing capabilities.  The modern meeting facility, constructed for over $14.5 million, consists of  a building complex  with more than 12,000sq. feet of meeting and support space.  The main building of the  Scripps Seaside Forum  is an auditorium with flexible seating space for 290 persons.  Four  freestanding meeting rooms, each with an ocean view, are adjacent to the auditorium and range in size to accommodate from 20 to 80 people.   Single-day business meetings, multiple-day conferences, weddings, receptions, symposiums, award ceremonies and similar events will all fit within the Forum’s unique design.
