Back to School....

The team attended the 1st Annual SDMPI Education Conference yesterday.  The much-needed topics concerned all thing technology related---email, blogging, social networking sites etc... and how to make them all work for you.  I really wanted them to delve deeper into sites like linkedin, as far as making connections and how to really get the most of them.  Unfortunately the speakers had limited time and so much to cover that most of the info was pretty superficial.  What did the other attendees thinks?

Hot Right Now!!! GRAPEFRUIT

Just a heads up that ruby red grapefruits right now (we bought them at Henry's) are AMAZING!  Super juicy, sweet, but with a hint of grapefruit's familiar tartness, all in a beautiful rosy pink hue.  Strongly recommend them!  also, this article published earlier this week, touts grapefruit's ability to enhance the effects of certain anti-cancer drugs.  Tastes great and good for you?  Nature's perfect food!

A lot of people in Southern California are familiar with our Catering---they may have tasted some of our delectable treats at a wedding or corporate event. 

 

Our blog is a chance for us to expose what goes on behind the scenes, an opportunity to share how we come up with our ideas, and a place to showcase anything exciting or new that we run across.  Basically a log of the crazy day-to-day occurences in the fast paced world of special event catering!
